Situated on the Mediterranean coast, Valencia is Spain’s third largest city, with a population of 850,000.
Valencia means shopping, culture, cinema, theatre, museums, and business. It boasts the special charm of a seaside resort as it has excellent beaches, even in the middle of the city.
As is the case in Barcelona, in Valencia two languages coexist: Spanish and Valenciano. Valenciano is less spoken than Catalan is in Barcelona but nevertheless some teachers insist in giving their classes in Valenciano. Don’t be afraid and open towards something typical in Spain: the bilingualism.
