Coordinators – Teneriffe
Marcela was born in Bogota, Columbia. She studied at the French High School Louis Pasteur. She moved with her family to Idaho, USA in 1981. She finished her secondary studies and worked as au pair and began university. Then she moved to Barcelona where she studied Tourism. She worked in Air France, Bureau Veritas and Red Cross where she got in contact with people all around the world and to experience culture exchange. She currently works as an English and French teacher.
In her free time she likes practising languages, travelling, reading and handcraft.
Elpidia, a native of Tenerife, is mother of two children. Her family hosted a German student a few years ago. The experience was so great that Elpidia was immediately interested in becoming part of the Openmind team.
Since she has a children’s clothing store, she is in daily contact with children and adolescents.
Elpidia is an active person, always in a great mood. Our participants will be in the best hands with her.
